This time of year it is easy to find ways to spend money and those little items add up quickly. With all the ways to spend money, how about ways we can save money? I like the ideas of saving and I’m always looking for ways to do just that. I get tired of paying full price for everything, so looking for ways to save gets me all excited so I wanted to share 3 easy tips with you.
3 Easy Ways to Save Money
Coupons
Coupons are the best way to save in any occasion. Most of the time they are free and you just print them off of a website. You can also buy the Sunday paper which will help you get a lot of coupons. Check out coupon swap pages where others will send you coupons. Try organizing your coupons with a binder and baseball pages. You can put each stores coupon policy in your binder. Plus, it’s easy to grab and go each time you are running to the store. Make sure to periodically clean out your binder, so that you can keep everything up-to-date. Best of all, you can use coupons to purchase a really fancy dinner :).
Promo Codes
The Internet is a beautiful thing for people who want to save a lot of money. I honestly do not know what people did before the Internet to save. Using target promo codes, for example, is a great way to get the best deal possible on something you want to purchase. There are literally hundreds of websites where you can search for promo codes. You just need to be a little creative in your search tactics. You may be surprised as to what you can find on a discount website.
Reuse
This is one of my favorite ways to save money. Some people may think it’s tacky but I like to think it’s interesting. Instead of spending a ton of money on things like wrapping paper, be creative in what you wrap your gifts with. When I was younger my mom would use aluminum foil to wrap gifts in. Back then I thought it was tacky but now I just think she was being creative.
What are some of the best ways you like to save money during the holidays? I mean you have to make room in the budget for all the gifts!
