When I first began wearing makeup, I was probably a lot older than most and really didn?t think choosing cosmetics like foundation and concealers a challenge. ??I?ve been through lots of products that were not the perfect match for me so at one point I stopped trying.? ?I?ve always aimed for the more natural looks and some cosmetics just didn?t give me that.
Since I haven?t worn makeup for years, I want a more natural look but at the same time something that helps smooth out the patchy areas while also minimizing fine lines.? Yes I do have those.
So when I was asked to try out L?Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation I figured why not.? Let?s give it one more try! This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/L?Or?al.
About L?Oreal Paris Cosmetics Visible Lift Blur Foundation:

Signs of aging disappear as Visible Lift Blur Foundation hides dark spots, large pores and smooths uneven texture so you get a flawless finish you can see and feel.
L’Or?al Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation contains SPF 18 and is available in 12 shades. It retails for approximately $14.99 for 1.4 fl oz. and is available at mass food and drug retailers nationwide starting July 2014.
The first thing I noticed was the texture of the foundation.? It appeared very light and creamy but the real test was just how smoothly it would go on.
I was anxious to see just how well the foundation would cover some of my problem areas.? I don?t have any major skin issues but I do have some uneven skin tones that I was hoping it would even out without have to applied huge amounts of foundation.? Remember-I do like a more natural look.
I thought the foundation did a very good job of giving me more coverage and toning out the dark spots. It spread on pretty smoothly, is very lightweight and gave a nice matte finish to my skin. I did however notice it did not completely cover all of the daeks spots. I was a bit hesitant to add more because I really do not want a caked on look and I thought I applied an ample amount already. But again, it could all come down to me not putting enough or simply not having the right shade. Next time, I think I’ll go one shade darker and that should make a difference.
I will say this however; I really did like the overall coverage L?Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation gave me with the amount I used.? I could have probably used a bit more foundation to get better coverage but as I mentioned before less is more for me.? I am not going to dismiss the product just yet and will give it another try on a date night I have planned.? Maybe I?ll add a bit more since it will be a night event since I tried it during the day when I usually go lighter or no make at all.
