It’s very easy (and understandable!) to be in a hectic rush each morning. The moment you wake up, you no doubt have many very real responsibilities to take care of. This might include preparing your children for the school run (and reminding them to wear their shoes for the tenth time), feeding your dogs and letting them out, preparing your car in the winter cold, and generally gathering your personal faculties before you have to go out and be productive.
All of this effort can imply little time for breakfast. This is especially true if you’re someone who rarely wakes up hungry. However, that doesn’t have to mean you should skip your breakfast each morning, because ensuring your have some energy to burn is almost entirely dependent on a healthy breakfast (and enough sleep of course!)
So, if you’re rushed for time, consider these three tips for perfecting your morning breakfast. We hope this gives you the comfort you need going forward:
Keep It Light & Add Fibre
You don’t have to wolf down several rounds of toast and eggs, bacon and sausages, syrup and pancakes or whatever else you might enjoy on a weekend morning every day. Of course, if you have the appetite for that, then that’s great. Keeping your breakfast light, however, can help you move into the day with a little less lethargy. We’d recommend some healthy options like wholemeal toast with eggs and avocado, light cereals, or perhaps just a breakfast muffin. Adding a little fibre can also be very healthy, allowing you to start the day with a boost to your digestive system.
Perfect Your Morning Coffee
Not everyone loves coffee, but those who do know just how comforting a warm cup can be as soon as they wake up. With Vietnamese pour over coffee, you can enjoy wonderful taste and a unique method of serving. We’d recommend standing on your porch or back decking listening to the morning birds and drinking your warm beverage amidst a cold environment. This will have a double wake-up effect, one of fresh air and one of the excellent caffeine now coursing through your system. If you need a pick-me-up before your children wake up, this could be it.
Lay Out A Self-Serve Spread
Of course, it’s rarely just you in the household who needs to get up and prepare breakfast. For this reason it’s always healthy to lay out an appropriate spread necessary for everyone in the household. But it’s much quicker, faster and easier if you make this into a self-serve effort. That might involve laying toast and a ramikin of butter for your children to spread, or a pitcher of orange juice, some milk and cereal and bowls ready for serving. As long as you keep an eye on them to make sure they are actually eating, children of a certain age can easily serve themselves, saving you time to plan the rest of your morning.
With this advice, you’re sure to perfect your morning breakfast in the best way.
