Today, All of the Nickelodeon channels and websites went dark in honor of the Worldwide Day of Play. I did not know that. I actually stumbled upon it while flipping through the channels today as my son and I were searching for something to watch. To our surprise, the channel was blacked out for a total of 3 hours from 12noon to 3pm. All we got was a message stating that “Today is Worldwide Day of Play….Turn off the Television, Shut Down the Computer, Put the Cell Phone Down.” Then it goes on to say, I’m talking to you, lol....

Last night, Season 9 of Dancing With the Stars got off to a good start. I think this is the biggest cast ever of 16 couples. The men strutted their stuff on last night performing Ballroom and Latin dancing which I REALLY enjoyed. I wonder who will be the first to go home? So far I don’t have a favorite. I did not feel myself all of last week and seemed to have caught a terrible head cold. Something is definitely flying around. Just completely out of it. I will continue to doctor myself with some Tylenol meds, and my tonic of hot tea, lemon, and honey. Hopefully, I can nip this in the bud.
