I cannot tell you the last time I had the chance to hang out with my girlfriends enjoying each others company. ??We all have such busy lives and it?s hard for us to kick back and catch up on old times.? Life is just too busy.? Between taking care of the family, cleaning, cooking, and running behind my pooch time is so limited.? ( Oh I almost forgot, I also have a job I work from home).

    I haven’t been out with the girls since December. Since that time I have been overly stressed with remodeling our kitchen and replacing numerous rugs in our home. I had to run around getting samples, making design decisions, changing things, finding contractors, etc. All while working. Ugh. It has been caotic to say the least. The project will be officially completed on April 25th. After that, I could really use a girls night out to unwind.

    I deserve a night out w/the girls because:
    1. I lost 2 jobs in the past 18 months and use my unemployment to pay off my $450/mth college loans.
    2. I no longer own a car due to reason #1, and all of my girlfriends live at least 1 hour away. We barely see each other because of this.
    3. Since I live in Michigan, all of my girlfriends except one are unemployed or under-employed. Two of my best friends both work 3 part-time jobs.
    4. Every person I’d invite has a terrible sob story-for example, I have a rare genetic disease (EDS) that causes me to have 40 medical conditions, my stepson has a seizure disorder & Aspergers, my hubby is facing a huge paycut, and I grew up with a crazy family.
    5. I am not making up anything on my list–I blog about my life all the time.
    6. I host giveaways, yet I have only won 1 giveaway out of the 100’s I’ve entered.
    7. The last time I ate at Outback, my steak was burned & I was sick but still sent it back & it still came back burned. A rareity for Outback, but it was over a year ago and was the last steak I’ve eaten since then. I’d love to replace that memory with a good one!

    I would LOVE to have a night out after a very hard pregnancy. Bed rest, preeclampsia, eclampsia, a preemie, the NICU, me in the ICU…you get the picture. Hospital bills are piling and I am trying to stay calm. A night out with the girls would be SO welcomed! I would love to relax and think about nothing other then good food, good friends and the blessings of life!
