When life gets tough, it can be hard to stay positive. But it doesn’t have to be—New York Life’s Keep Good Going initiative wants to remind us to make the most of everything we have in this charming video, The Happiest Daughter.
This video and life lesson struck a chord with me. I had just given birth to my first baby when we moved across the country, my husband started a new, very demanding job, and my dad got diagnosed with cancer. It would have been easy to have a bad attitude and just stay inside and mope all day, but I decided to take the life lesson into consideration and make the most of everything. I turned the late nights with my baby into great bonding sessions, I explored our new neighborhood, and I did everything I could to support my husband and dad. Counting my blessings and staying positive made a big impact in my getting through difficult times, just like it did for Julia in the video. When we make the most out of everything in our live, we create a world full of happiness and love for ourselves and the people around us.
New York Life wants to keep good going by passing it on throughout your home and life. When you have a happy and positive home and family, the community becomes better. New York Life has the products to keep the good going. Mother’s Day is a time full of good, and I love the time we take to celebrate the important women in our live while Celebrating Good. My mom is great at keeping the good going. Even in times of trouble or discouragement, she always has a smile on your face that is so contagious you can’t help but be happy around her. She keeps the good going in all aspects of her life.
