A new year means new beginnings and an opportunity to start fresh. A chance to leave the past behind and create a new vision. Every year my friends and I get together and create a vision board of things we hope to see manifest in our lives. Our visions range from the miniscule detail to the major life altering event, however we don?t limit ourselves for we believe in the old a dage?.write the vision, make it plain. Our vision boards help us lay the foundation of having it all! So when Nissan and Glam asked me to write a post on the topic of ?having it all? , I was all for it.

?Just like Latham Thomas I too have it all! Haute Havens teamed up with Nissan in this video to highlight how the new Altima is a great accessory for the busy go-getters of today. Today?s video allows us to take a glimpse into the life of Ms. Thomas and how she has made her home her own personal ?haven.? Ms. Thomas reminds us to indulge in self-care by eating healthy, de-stressing with yoga and creating a space that is both open and cozy.
?As African American women we may choose different paths but none of us could have gotten this far if not for the women who came before us. I am not an entrepreneur but I do have it all! As an educator, mother, wife, daughter, friend and sister, I wear many hats that bring me great joy. My expertise is having the ability to balance it all yet giving each area the necessary dedication. I have been in education for 13 years and it is my passion in life. I love teaching and having the ability to mold and shape the minds of our youth. As a wife I support my husband in all his endeavors and ensure I am always 100% beside him in our life journey.? We firmly believe that we can?t achieve our dreams on our own. I am also the mother of 2 children who have helped me to be a better woman each day as they allow me to see the purity and joy in life.
I believe that we should encourage our fellow sister in whatever endeavor we choose in life. We can and should have it all. The sky is the limit and the possibilities are limitless.
Just like the new Nissan Altima with its stylish looks and premium interior, the Nissan Altima is just as much an individual as you are. Not fitting into one mold is what makes the Nissan Altima not only unique, but very exciting!

The Nissan Ultima looks like such a great car. To have it all means to spend time with the ones your love, and to help others achieve their goals!
Honestly, the woman who inspires me the most is my best friend! Life has knocked her down in many ways and she continues to get back up and move forward. To me, having it all is finding a balance in all that I already have : )
I’m not really inspired by anyone but myself. To have it all to me means having a healthy family and living comfortably.

Great post! To me having it all means that my family is healthy and happy with that everything else falls in place. As a Nissan Altima owner I am really loving this campaign!
One of my buddies has an Altima and she loves it. It’s a really stylish car. For me having it all means having my family with me, even if we’re going through a tough time.

Having it all can sure mean something different for every one. I sure wish I could say I have it all (what is all for me) But I am working on it. my Mom has always inspired me.
Life is a constant balancing act, but having it all for me is when I am succeeding at finding balance; those are the greatest times of my life. Balance is hard to get and maintain but when you get it, it is a major accomplishment! I agree wholeheartedly with you on supporting other women (and your man) as we all need each other in different ways! May you continue to find joy and “have it all!”
Oh and I have an Altima in my garage! ;)

I always speak by faith so I am gonna say I do have it together.
I really find your positive attitude infectious! My vision board will probably change as my life does, but it includes doing everything, having everything to get my Lupus into remission to enjoy life and make some memories.
I agree with having it all. I like to say, “You can have it all, you just can’t DO it all on your own” :) I just came back from the DC Auto show and the Altima looks really sharp :)
