Caf? Br?lot
If you are a more adventurist cocktail enthusiast and are visiting NOLA in the next few months, you spark your taste buds with Caf? Br?lot, a flaming coffee cocktail at Windsor Court Hotel.
Cocktail Bar at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans has debuted a new twist on the traditional flaming libation, Caf? Br?lot, comprised of coffee, orange liqueur, cinnamon stick, sugar, cloves and lemon peels. Traditionally, Caf? Br?lot?is made in a flameproof bowl and ladled into cups, but at the Windsor Court each table receives their own personal serving in a special stand and beaker which is served to the guest still flaming. Caf? Br?lot became popular during prohibition as a way to hide alcohol sales/consumption.
