It’s that magical time of year: Super Bowl Sunday. A time for cheering, taunting, laughing, and of course: eating. I love watching the game, but my favorite part about the big game is the chance it gives me to have everyone over and eat delicious food all day long. My group loves a mix of sweet and salty snacks and every year I try to mix it up with something new.
My crowd this year is extra rambunctious and excited about the game—two of our favorite teams happen to be playing each other. There’s been friendly trash talking going around for weeks, and I’m sure it will get bigger and better on game day. To keep them happy and satisfied no matter who wins, I’m turning to Sam’s Club for some delicious Hormel® Chili and Velveeta cheese snack recipes.
One of my favorite recipes is for Chili Cheese Dip. It’s a huge crowd pleaser, and it only takes two ingredients. That means I can spend more time watching the game and being with friends than slaving away in the kitchen. That is what I call a real winner.
Chili Cheese Dip
Ingredients
-
1 (15-oz.) can Hormel® Chili No Beans
-
1 (1-lb.) pkg. pasteurized prepared cheese product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (I use Velveeta)
Directions
-
In medium microwave-safe bowl, stir together chili and cheese product; cover. Microwave on high; stirring once, 4-1/2 to 5 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted. Serve with corn chips.
It’s so simple and gets devoured in minutes, so this year I’m making a double batch (or maybe even a triple batch, it’s that good). Sam’s Club has so many other great recipes to Satisfy your crowd’s craving. I’m looking forward to trying the Velveeta Spicy Cheeseburger Dip and the Chicken Fiesta Chili Dip. Plus, the Fun and Festive and Fun and Festive Facebook pages have lots of fun and festive ideas and recipes to spice up the game.
So no matter who wins the big game, I know my snack spread will be a winner with these delicious and deceptively easy recipes.
