When school is out and the weather starts to get unbearably hot, you know summer is in full swing. But let?s face it?sometimes it?s just too hot to be outside and all you want to do is relax. Around my house, summertime means movie time. We love getting everyone together for some precious family time full of popcorn, laughter, and lots of movies. My husband and I also like to take advantage of a good movie cuddled up together after the kids go to bed.

But going to the movie theater as a family or even a couple can get expensive very quickly. Plus, the concessions are sticky and not exactly what I would call healthy and you have to deal with tall people sitting in front of you. Our favorite way to catch up on the latest movies is in the comfort of our basement where we can lounge in our pajamas with lots of pizza, ice cream, and popcorn.
