Every state has their own crazy laws. The ones that make you wonder what in the world happened that a law had to be made about it.
Weird Laws in Texas
Texas is an incredible state. The Lone Star State is full of so much history, amazing nightlife, family-friendly places, and beautiful landscape. It also is home to some really weird laws.
It is illegal for children to have unusual haircuts.
I’d love to know who decides what is unusual. And why did the mullet never make this list?
Beer may not be purchased after midnight on a Sunday, but it may be purchased on Monday.
Are there more hours on Sunday in Texas that we don’t know about?
Drivers of city vehicles must respect all traffic rules just like the rest of us.
I actually like this law!
It is now illegal to place a “for sale” sign on a car if it visible from the street.
So basically you can only sell your car if you don’t tell anyone it’s for sale? Better be safe and just trade it in towards a new car purchase.
It is illegal to drive within an arm’s length of alcohol – including alcohol in someone else’s blood stream.
Giving drunk Uncle Bob a ride home? Better make him ride in the trunk.
No person shall throw trash from an airplane.
Wait. Do the windows open now?
One needs permission from the director of parks and recreation before getting drunk in any city park.
It’s okay officer, I have permission.
Offensive gestures will not be tolerated at any special event.
Not a special event? Have at it!
It is illegal to urinate on the Alamo.
Little Timmy just had to take common sense and throw it out the window that day.
It is illegal for both sexes to flirt or respond to flirtation using the eyes and/or hands.
Um? So a foot rub is OK then?
