When you think of Kahl?a, what do you think of? A White Russian probably comes to mind. The cocktail has been around for over 50 years and has gained somewhat of a cult status, thanks in large part to the film The Big Lebowski.
As The Dude can tell you, White Russians are typically made with original Kahl?a, vodka and milk or cream (or even powdered dairy creamer in a pinch- not recommended). The coffee liqueur now comes in a bunch of flavors; other varieties include FrenchVanilla, Cinnamon Spice, Mocha, Hazelnut, Especial, and seasonal favorites like Peppermint Mocha and Pumpkin Spice.
Our current favorite liqueur is the Pumpkin Spice? seriously, it is so good. We thought we?d switch up the traditional White Russian recipe for something a little more festive and appropriate for this time of year. The added fall flavors did not disappoint!

–?2 parts Kahl?a Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
-1 ? parts milk
-Cinnamon
-Nutmeg
Directions
Add ice to an old-fashioned glass. Pour in vodka and Kahl?a Pumpkin Spice liqueur. Carefully add milk and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg. Enjoy!
White Russians are usually served unmixed, but you?ll probably want to stir the ingredients together before drinking. The Dude?s drink also uses more vodka than Kahl?a, but try it our way for a smoother, more flavorful cocktail.
