One of my fondest memories growing up is being in the kitchen with my mother.? It was and still is the heart of her home.? It is where I first learned how to cook and clean up the kitchen afterwards.? There were so many fun times and laughs that took place there.? I even till this day remember the canary yellow painted walls and the over sized fork and spoon that hung there for years.
Now that I’m an adult, I can still recall the smells and tastes of my childhood and even some of the appliances… or lack thereof. When I think about it, I chuckle and realize just how much things have changed.? Growing up, we didn’t have a dish washer… unless you consider me and my other 7 siblings.? No microwave either and I recall my mom going to the laundromat for many many years.? As I got older, I can recall us getting some of those things and the one name that I can recall and relate to has always been Maytag.
Maytag has been in my family for years and continue to innovate through new technological advances that carry the same dependability our family has come to expect.? A few month’s ago, we had a new?Maytag Jetclean Plus Dishwasher installed in our kitchen and I am loving it so far!
Cooking and preparing meals for my family is something I enjoy doing but the cleanup however is not one of my favorite things to -do at the end of a meal.? The last thing I want to do after spending hours in the kitchen cooking a meal is to clean up the mess. But thanks to the Maytag Jetclean Plus Steam cycle,? cleanup is a breeze and helps make the process less painful.
NO MORE RINSING
Pre-rinsing is a thing of the past since the Jetclean Plus Steam cycle utilizes high-pressure spray jets and increased temperatures to power through stuck-on food while reducing spots on glassware.? I love unloading the dishwasher knowing that my dishes are throughly clean and the glasses are sparkling clean with no spots.
IT’S QUIET AND EFFICIENT
The dishwasher is super quiet, and to date works really well.? There are also several features I love.?? Beyond, the beautiful stainless steel appearance, I love the sleek look of the Maytag Jetclean Plus. The hidden controls not only look sleek, but they were also a mystery to the hubs and kiddos trying to figure out how it works lol.? I eventually let them in on the secret since they were eager to help me out? with the dishes.? Besides the fact that they are willing to help me out,? my favorite feature has to be the Jetclean plus Steam cycle.? I love not having to pre-rinse the dishes.? I simply put them in and the dishwasher does it from there and they come out clean every time.
GOOD ORGANIZATION
The adjustable upper rack is also pretty neat.? You can load items of different shapes and sizes which helps to really fill up the dishwasher all the way.? Another neat thing is the utensil rack.? I like that utensils are securely stored and it helps with the organization.? You also get many different cycle options so you can select the option that?s right for your load.? I have experimented with them all and appreciated that the washer is energy star qualified which is helpful in not wasting energy.
I am more than pleased with all of my Maytag appliances.? Maytag appliances has been a part of my family for years and it is a name I know and trust. My grandmother has used them, my mom has used and I used them.? And my bet is that they will be used for many more generations to come.

I’ve spent the last two years w/ o a dishwasher. Hope we can find a home w/ one in Italy -but from what I’ve learned most kitchens come bare -as in you’ve got to furnish your kitchen…Ayayayay!

I have that dishwasher too & LOVE it! &Now thinking about it, I don’t think I had a dishwasher until I moved when I was 6- I don’t even remember not having it though so I can’t imagine living without it!

I definitely have dishwasher-envy! Our kitchen is from 1959 and the cabinets are too narrow to put in a built-in dishwasher, so we had to buy a portable one that sits on wheels and connects to our sink. It’s not as advanced as some of the built-in models but it gets the job done! :)

The pre-rinsing would be a hard habit to break, but I love that you don’t need to with this one!

I would love a quiet dishwasher, mine is so loud and it’s in the great room, so you can hear it all over the main living floor!
