If you know anything about me by now, you should know that I?m very picky when it comes to my drinking water. ??If there is such a thing as a water snob, then that would be me. ?But then again, is asking for clean fresh drinking water asking too much? I didn?t think so either- so when I?was given the opportunity to try out a MAVEA Filtration Pitcher, I jumped on it.
I received the premium Elemaris model for review which comes in 2.4 L and 3.5L sizes with your choice of black or white. It?s been a little over a month now since I?ve been using it and I cannot say how much I?m loving it.
Let me share with you a few up close features so you can see what all the excitement is about.
?
Besides the fact that I am getting fresh clean water for me and my family, I really like the sleek European design which allows you to store the pitcher in the side door of your refrigerator.? Just perfect for those jammed packed refrigerators with very little room to spare.?? I?m not sure what it is… but it is just something about a well designed product.?? As if this matters, it is one of the best looking water pitchers I?ve seen and can tell they put a lot?of thought? into the design.
?
Convenient:
Another great thing about this water filtration pitcher is that you do not?have to take the top off to fill it up. All you have to do is turn on the tap and hold the pitcher under it. The flow from the water opens the lid and it closes automatically when it is full. No more struggling to get the top off and then back on right again. Being that I am always seemingly in a rush I like the fact of not having to do one extra little step.
Intelligent:
The Elemaris also has a digital read out on the top of it called the MAVEA Smart Meter that tells you when you need to change the filter. No more trying to remember when was the last time you changed the?filter. This is a perfect feature for Busy moms like us who sometimes can?t remember what?s next on our to-do-list.? So try adding having to remember when was the last time you changed the filter in the water picture?- It?s not gonna happen! Just another reason I love this feature.? The pitcher?also has a rubberized?bottom so it won’t slide around on your counter.
The Elemaris is made from BPA free plastic so?not only are you getting better tasting water, it?s clean too.?? So far I can say that I am please with the Mavea Elemaris and find the price to be comparable to other similar products.
Price: $31.99 depending on retailer or location

I learned this: Reliable machine protection
MAVEA filtered water with less limescale will also protect your domestic appliances. The appliance does not scale up as quickly. This means it has a longer life and ensures fast boiling on a long-term basis with consistently low energy consumption.

I learned that the MAVEA filtration technology is an optimal mixture of activated carbon and ion exchange resin beads that work together with the unique cartridge shape to improve water taste and reduce limescale* and other contaminants (e.g. cadmium, copper, mercury, atrazine, simazine, benzene and tetrachloroethylene).
