I am so ready for Spring! Are you just as excited about spring as I am? ?I cannot wait for it to warm up. The weather has been kind of gloomy and has rained all of this week – no sunshine for days. ?The one positive thing I can take away from this however is that I know the sunshine will come out soon. But for now if I can’t have sunshine, I can at least enjoy sweet treats to help brighten my mood.
And because you all are so special, I wanted to share one of my newest favorites that will have you and your loved ones leaving room for dessert. ?This version is from?Savings Expert Jeanette Pavini ?who has has crafted an affordable, homemade version of the classic Shamrock Shake. Lucky Shamrock Shake
Ingredients -?Serves 2
????????? 1 teaspoon honey
????????? 2 teaspoons green sprinkles
????????? 2 cups vanilla bean ice cream
????????? ? cup Bailey?s Irish Cream (or milk)
????????? ? cup milk
????????? 1 small bunch fresh mint leaves
????????? ? teaspoon pure peppermint extract (optional)
????????? 2 teaspoons green food coloring
????????? 1 cup whipped topping
????????? ? cup Lucky Charms marshmallows
Directions:
Rim two glasses with honey, dip in green sprinkles. Set aside. In a blender, puree ice cream, Irish Cream or milk, mint leaves, peppermint extract, and green food coloring. Pour into a glass. Top with whipped topping. Garnish with Lucky Charms marshmallows. Serve immediately and enjoy!
