It?s no secret that when it comes to the holiday season, baking and entertaining is a big part of the celebration which is why Kraft wants to give you lots of great ideas and encourage you to get baking using Cool Whip.

For as long as I can remember, Cool Whip whipped topping has been a favorite in many homes? and deemed a staple for many desserts.? Now to my discovery Kraft has come out with a new frosting ? Cool Whip Frosting!? The frosting comes in three flavors; vanilla, chocolate and cream cheese and it is really good!?? It has a really creamy and light texture with a great flavor.

Some COOL facts about COOL WHIP Frosting:

????????? You can find it in the freezer aisle next to COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

????????? It?s whipped so it is easier to spread and won?t tear your cake/cupcakes

????????? Perfectly sweet

????????? Easy to use: Take out of the freezer one hour in advance or place in the fridge for four and you are ready to use

I don’t know what it is about the holidays but it always put me in a baking mood.?? I will not pretend for one moment that I’m a great baker but I do like coming up with different creations and give my boys and family a sweet little treat from time to time.? So to try out the new Cool Whip frosting I decided on making muffins.? No, wait-cupcakes! Well what ever you’d like to call them since they are great for breakfast, dessert, or just a snack!

Banana Nut Cupcakes

What You will need

Cupcakes

  • 1? (14-oz.) package banana nut muffin mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Frosting

  • 1 container? (10.6 oz.) COOL WHIP Chocolate Whipped Frosting, thawed
    (found in the freezer aisle next to COOL WHIP Whipped Topping)

What To Do:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line muffin tins with paper baking cups.
  2. In large bowl, make muffin mix according to package directions.
  3. Spoon batter evenly into lined muffin tins, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake according to package directions for 16 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for about 5 minutes and remove from pan. Cool another 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
  1. Frost cooled cupcakes. Sprinkle with walnuts.? and refrigerate until chocolate is set.

Tip: ?Remove frosting from freezer 1 hour before you plan to use it and place in large freezer bag. ?Snip one corner of the bag and pipe in circle starting outside and working inwards.
