I love to review jewelry but the best kind to review is the personalized stuff that I can have the kids names put on.? When given the opportunity to work with Joseph Allen Designs to review a necklace my very first task was to find one that I could fit all four of the kids names onto properly because there are so many letters involved I did not want them to look cramped up and I wanted to be able to add the kids birthstones to the necklace.
After much searching I finally choose the large forever circle with disc necklace from the Unique Hand Stamped Necklaces category.? It was perfect for the size and I was able to include all the kids full names as well as their birthstones and have a small saying engraved on the center disc.? My finally necklace had the saying “made from love” on it with two small crystals hanging from it.? Normally the crystals would have been Lee and I’s birthstones but I am not a huge fan of mine so I just went with a pink and a blue crystal, in hindsight I think it would have been better to get my birthstone so I was not explaining all the time why they were not our stones haha.
The quality of the necklace is amazing, I was at first afraid it might be too large or too heavy to wear but I have to say it is perfect, the size is great and the chain it came with suits it perfectly.? For the chain I was able to choose between a 16, 18 or 20″ bead necklace or a curb chain and if I did not want that I could have had it made into a key chain instead.? I went with a 20″ curb chain because I liked the look of it better and I feared the balls on the bead necklace would dig into my neck with the weight of the pendant.? I probably didn’t have to worry about that as it is not too heavy but I still love it so that is OK.
The large forever circle is about 1-3/8″ circle, carved and cast in Argentium Sterling Silver with a satin finish.? The starting point is $85.00 but in the end the necklace I chose would have been $109 due to the four birthstones, the longer chain and the crystals for the center.
This necklace has been a hit with everyone who has seen it and I have had a bunch of people dying to know where I got it and my mother loved it so much she begged for one of her own.? All in all I would say if you are looking for something special as a gift or for yourself I highly recommend Joseph Allen Designs and their hand stamped jewelry for all your gifting needs.? It even comes wrapped in the most adorable gift box so it is ready for gift giving which is perfect for me because then I don’t have to try to tie the pesky bow.
