When most people move into a house, chances are the appliances were already there. That?s why most people never get the pleasure of using a brand spanking new appliance. I?ve never had that pleasure until now?

If you recall,? a couple of months ago I had the privilege of having an entire new kitchen suite of appliances installed that not only included a fabulous new refrigerator and dishwasher, but also a beautiful Maytag electric range with precision cooking. I absolutely love my new Maytag stove and I couldn’t be happier!? It is perfect for my kitchen!

I’m loving it so much, I wanted to share with you some of things that just put a smile : ) on my face.

The slide-in range has a no-backsplash design that streamlines my kitchen just perfectly.? Since my stove sits in the middle of my island, this model was the perfect choice and has a built in look.? The control panel is up front for easy access and features reliable Electronic Touch oven controls for easy operation.

The flat ceramic cooking surface is just AWESOME! I?ve been cooking on it for the last couple of months, and I?ve never had a stove that heated up immediately, cooked evenly on all burners, and allowed me to use the cook top as a work surface for prep.? The only thing I?m slightly concerned about is scratching? or cracking it but I’ve just been careful putting the pans down. Other than that, it’s fabulous and I definitely have been cooking a lot more.

The glass oven door is perfect for keeping track of goodies cooking inside. The oven is easy to clean, and holds a surprising amount of stuff. There’s plenty of room to do the basic baking tasks as well as a high powered broiler option.?? I also love the stainless steel that it just makes the kitchen “pop”. Along with the matching fridge and dishwasher they definitely add a beautiful aesthetic quality.

Another great thing about this oven is that because it is digital, you can get a more accurate temp. setting?and the oven will beep to let you know when its at the temp you set it to. The timer is also handy and is real convenient for saving food from being burned.? I have a tendency to walk away and forget about things real easy.? Now I can relax knowing that things won’t burn…all due to the handy timer.

I have always loved to bake and I will be posting recipes and pictures of all my fun experiments with food.? Trying new recipes for meals has made my dear hubby happy and cooking with my new Maytag electric stove has made all the difference.
