Pampers keeps on giving!? If you recall, I wrote about the Pampers Little Miracle Missions campaign and all the great things they were doing not so long ago.? To refresh your memory, the program delivers acts of kindness to babies and their families while encouraging parents to support others.?? Now Pampers is taking their pay-it-forward campaign to a whole new level by giving baby showers to 1,000 moms across the United States! For sure lots of expectant mommies will be thrilled when Pampers surprises them with lots of great stuff for their babies.

The Mission:

This month Pampers has also launched their Mission #2 ? To make a dad?s first Father?s Day one he?ll never forget! The mission is to help give dads the time he and his baby deserve to bond.? There several ways you can help a busy dad.? You can chip in by running some of his errands, help him out with?chores around the house?whatever it is I?m sure he would appreciate the act of kindness.?? To make a pledge visit this link to help a dad out.??If Pampers gets 4,000 commitments to complete the mission, Pampers will throw special Father?s Day cook-outs for dads and babies across the country designed to give dads and their baby?s valuable bonding time. It?ll be a day to remember. Also, every person who commits to this mission is automatically entered into the Miracles Missions sweepstakes for a chance to win free diapers and wipes for a year!

The Challenge:

I can still remember?my baby shower today, in fact both of them.? They both were perfect and my family and friends seem to put so much thought into it.? I don?t think I could have imagined anything better.? Baby Showers can be so much fun and you can get really creative with so many themes to choose from.

My challenge to you is to tell me who you would plan a baby shower for. Is there someone in your life that could use a great baby shower? ?A Friend, A Relative or maybe you even yourself.? Don?t keep it to yourself, tell us about it!

    well I could throw one for a friend and have a football sports therme since she is having a boy in the fall- decorating with jersies and such but I told her I am donating diapers and creams in her name/babys name to joplin victims- until ou see it in person you do not realize all they are going thru- they have a need for diapers and other baby items which I would buy her and coupon for more bang and put in the donate truck- They are going to need help for a long time becuase food stamps do nt buy diapers and such. My friend still is getting a shower but I know she would want the card to go to purchase of items to help others wo truly need it and need it bad. I am a bargain hunter- she will still get her shower and may have peeps bring canned food and such to the shower too for the truck and make it a team effort.

    I would throw a shower for my friend who is having a baby boy. She already has a little girl at home and could really use boy items. Therefore, I would throw a shower with the theme of boys rule.     I would love to throw a Baby Shower for our youngest daughters biological mother. She gave us one of our greatest gifts 8 years ago when she allowed her then 6 year old daughter to join our family through adoption. Our daughter has Down Syndrome and doesn’t understand that having two mothers is not the “norm”.     MANDATORY ENTRY: Oh goodness, I only two women who are currently pregnant and they are both co-workers of mine. Since I work with the both of them I would throw a Baby Shower for the both of ’em @ work. I would have a Baby Suzy’s Zoo theme since I absolutely LOVE Suzy’s Zoo. I would attempt at making the Baby Shower memorable by creating and contributing to a ‘Baby Time Capsule’ for both babies. I would have each attendee contribute something to the time capsule, whether it be a newspaper clipping or maybe a sales receipt to show a sign of the times. And when the children reach age 10, the capsule is to be opened and shared with those, hopefully, at the baby shower.

    I have a friend of mine who’s pregnant and a single mom like me, I’d throw her a baby shower. To make it memorable…hmmm well having a baby shower at all would be memorable for her, but I’d get one of those diaper cakes. I’m not sure of the theme, I’d have to do some recon to find out what her thoughts are on the room design. I know the bedding she registered for has a zoo animal theme so something along those lines, I think.

    I don’t have any friends or family who are currently pregnant, so I guess I would throw the shower for the next person I know that is! LOL I would make it memorable by NOT having any of those silly shower games, making it open to both genders to participate, making it a vegetarian pot luck, and having everyone fill out a note card with their best parenting advice on it for the parents to keep!

    I’d throw a shower for the women I volunteer for at a local charity for unwed and/or addicted mothers and their children. Many of the girls are on public assistance and cannot afford to eat healthy meals. I’d prepare wholesome, fresh, organic appetizers and snacks (I also teach cooking classes on occasion) . I’d have a diaper cake instead of a regular cake, though I would make an assortment of cupcakes in different varieties.

    The thought of getting all the great friends & family together to celebrate the surprise addition would be the best ever. There is a great community park nearby; Complete w/a Sprinkler Park and Kiddie playland. Rented pavilions would be the perfect shade on a great summer day to adorn w/BLUE everywhere. Winds will blow the Kitchy Klassic decor of paper lanterns above, gobs of blue balloons, and blue drinks, food, and simply great family fun.

    I would throw a baby shower for a coworker and since she loves animals, that would be the theme. I think we would have a decorate-a-onesie arts & crafts table where you could attempt to draw an animal on a onesie and then the mom-to-be would get all of the onesies!

    I’d throw one for my god daughter. It would be a floral theme with tons of her favorite flowers, gerbera daisies. It would be memorable for all the flowers plus I’m a great cook and baker so the food will definitely be memorable.

    We have a friend who is expecting but has already bought everything so I would have guests bring diapers and such and an unwrapped gift to be donated to the local shelter. It would be made special by the gift of giving to others in need.

    I was always intrigued by those realistic looking diaper cakes but I am nowhere that talented to make them myself and looking them up on varies internet sites I learned they can be very pricey.     I would throw it for my friend Jennifer and the theme would be “green baby” and I would decorate using plants, pretty plates that each guest could take home and not to be thrown in the trash can, homemade sweet treats, and I would make a huge Green Gift basket for Mom and Baby with Organic lotions, foot massage for Mom, cloth wipes, diapers, and onesies made out of bamboo. I would top it off with a photo book commemorating her pregnancy.

    I would throw the party for my daughter-in-law. It would be travel-themed because they both want to travel someday. I would make it special by purchasing baby-related items related to traveling, and by offering a money jar people could contribute to for their future travel w/baby in tow.     I would plan a baby shower for my 62 year old neighbor. No, that’s not a typo. Her daughter lives across the country, so she doesn’t get to see her very often, and she’s pregnant with her first baby. I would love to have a baby shower for my neighbor so that she could open all the presents and see what great stuff her first grandchild would be getting. I even have it planned out how to get the names of all the people I should invite! Since her daughter lives in Reno, it would be casino-themed. Don’t you think that would be memorable? LOL

    I would have the baby shower for my friend and I would do a “baby bird” themed baby shower because of her love for birds.     Noah’s Ark theme is my favorite baby shower theme. I’d throw a shower for my niece’s daughter.

    My friends daughter-in-law is pregnant for the first time (and first grandbaby!), so I’d throw a shower to her. The theme would be along the lines of ‘Time is Ticking Away’ and it would focus on how time with your new baby is very important so don’t let the little things get in the way of that! Going with the theme, I would get her a bunch of stuff having to do with time: feeding time, play time, nap time, bath time, etc.
