During this time of year, I find myself spending even more time in the kitchen than I usually do. Cooking and baking are some of my favorite things to do anyway, so I?m always happy to have any excuse to cook and bake more. I love trying new recipes and creating old favorites for my family to enjoy.

For my family, the holidays are always are filled with delicious food. I have a lot of relatives that live nearby, providing the perfect opportunity for many family gatherings. Of course, no family get-together is complete without plenty of tasty treats. I find that the cooler fall and winter months are the perfect time to fill our home with the delicious scent of baked goodies. Some of my favorite holiday treats are pumpkin pie made from fresh pumpkins, cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, and gingerbread. Right now my husband and I live in an apartment, and the appliances are on the small side. The dishwasher is especially tiny – it?s half the size of a normal one! Dealing with less-than ideal appliances gets me dreaming of when we get to live in a bigger space, with our own appliances! We?re hoping to choose and buy a house in the near future. When we do, I will absolutely love picking out any needed kitchen appliances.
If you happen to be in the market for new major appliances, be sure to check out the KitchenAid Savor the Savings Event. With this event, customers can get up to a $1000.00 prepaid card when they purchase select KitchenAid major appliances! Having an extra $1000.00 to spend certainly sounds good to me, especially as the holiday season is upon us. Wouldn?t we all like to get a little extra cash this time of year? Just think what could be bought with it: ingredients to make more tasty desserts using your brand-new appliances, or decorations for your next holiday party.
This event makes it the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a gift: new appliances and extra spending money. What could be more fun than that?
