This post is sponsored by Smirnoff Sorbet Light. And although I was compensated for my participation, I would have been tempted to try the new flavors either way, because we girls love that they don’t contain artificial colors or fake/added sweeteners!
As moms it can be easy to get caught up in the needs of our families.? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard friends make excuses about why they haven’t gotten to see their friends in….oh sometimes they can’t remember when the last time they had some girl time was.? Smirnoff knows this and they’re here to help you cut through the excuses and get the girls together.
First of all their new Sorbet Light line offers fruit infused flavors with only 78 calories a serving so you don’t have to ruin your healthy eating goals while you enjoy a night with friends.? And, if you’re like myself and many of my friends, it can be difficult to get a night out with the girls, so check out Smirnoff’s website for a collection of great ideas to host a girls night in.
I recently hosted a Girls Night INfused with Smirnoff with some of my friends.? Smirnoff challenged us to see what sort of jewelry we could create by infusing jewelry making with some common household items.? Since all the ladies I got together have boys on my son’s baseball team I decided that we would create something using a baseball theme.? Thanks to pinterest I found the perfect project to make using some of the MANY baseball we find laying around the house on a regular basis.? For more ideas on making your own jewelry infused with the everyday, check out my DIY Jewelry board on Pinterest.
Because this project involved cutting the leather off of the baseballs, we DID call in some help from a hubby.? If you want learn how to do this project, I followed the instructions here.? It actually is fairly simply it just takes some patience.
Once we were fairly confident we knew what we were doing with our project, we began our Smirnoff sampling.? Here are the recipes we tried but be sure to check out Smirnoff’s site for more recipes.
Ironically my favorite was the Smirnoff Sorbet Light Tropical Martini which I had expected not to like as much, though I’m not really sure why.? It was agreed amoungst the group that the Smirnoff Sorbet Light* Pomegranate Berry Punch was not one we liked.? But I have had the Raspberry Pomegranate SMIRNOFF SORBET? Light at another function in a different drink and really enjoyed it.? I’m not a cranberry juice drinker so I assumed maybe that was why I didn’t love it, but some of my friends are regular cranberry drinkers and they agreed with me. ?? But the really fun is in the experimenting.? We mixed up our own creations.? Personally I liked the Lemon SMIRNOFF SORBET? Light in pink lemonade a lot.
And once we were done with our bracelets….
We may have tested the 78 calories ofSMIRNOFF SORBET? Light straight up!
Cheers to good friends and good drinks!?
