Both of my boys are very imaginative and they love building and creating things with their hands.? They also love Transformers and are huge fans of the movie.? So imagine my excitement, when the opportunity came about for me to do a review on the latest? KRE-O TRANSFORMERS set from Hasbro.? I just knew I have to do it.? I mean, how could I pass up two of my boys favorite things ? building blocks and Transformers!
That right there was a no-brainer!
?KRE-O TRANSFORMERS DESTRUCTION SITE DEVASTATOR
When the package arrived they were every bit of excited.? We received the?Cycle Chase and Decepticon Ambush mini-sets, and the Destruction Site Devastator set.? The sets are very age appropriate for my boys ages 9 and 11.? In fact, the recommended ages are f 8-14 and would be perfect for any kid within that age range.
What does the set include
Ok, so embrace yourself.? The set comes with over 560 small pieces, but don’t let that intimidate you. The set does come with several very helpful picture instructions breaking down each step into just a few pieces.? I did however, start off helping them out with organizing the pieces so they wouldn’t be all over the place, but from there, the boys were all on their on.? I did enlist in the fun at some point which eventually sparked the interest of my husband, who at times seemed to be enjoying it just as much as the boys.? To say the least they were really enjoying themselves.
The 560 piece set allows kids to construct up to 9 new structures.? They can build 1 giant robot, 4 different vehicles or 4 smaller robots.? The pieces to the set might be small, but the creative freedom this set offers is a huge plus.??This 9-in-1 set also includes 6 Kreon figures: Construction Devastator, Construction Foreman, Ironhide, and 3 Construction Workers. So being bored should never be an issue.
Overall, The KRE-O Transformers Destruction Site Devastator Set is unlike other DIY building toys .? Not only do I feel this is a great deal and worth the price.?? The hours of fun and entertainment are well worth it.
Smaller sets like the Cycle Chase set and the Decepticon Ambush set are great for beginning builders, ages 6 & up and make awesome stocking stuffers or beginner builder fun.? The Destruction Site Devastator on the other hand is a deluxe set that stands out as more detailed, with interactive pieces and is great for more advanced builders.
As I mentioned earlier, my boys love to build things.? They also love to tear things down, so the idea of them being able to? build the characters in their vehicle modes then break them all down and rebuild into their robot modes makes this set in their words – so cool!? So if your kids love to build things and tear them down, then they would love the Destruction Site Devastator Set.? If they start off building one thing, change their mind mid way, they can? easily tear it down and build something entirely new.? What little boy wouldn’t love that!
When looking for a gift for my boys, I like to know if? it will be worth mommies money and not end up pushed all the way back in the closet after day one.? The FUN FACTOR is also important and if I can get something that they can play with together it’s a win win.? The Kre-O Transformes set offer just that and the excitement on my boys faces as they played said it all.

Ohmygosh.
My son was so hooked on Transformers when he was younger. And he was really good at working with them. You brought back memories with this post.

I love Transformers. They are great toys because they let each kid use his imagination. I love any toy that lets kids be creative.
