This summer has been filled with lots of FUN! ??We have been in vacation mode ever since summer began and now things are seemingly trying to get back to normal.? It was fun while it lasted but now it?s back to the normal life.?? But before I do let me share with you a little bit of our fun filled weekend in San Antonio this past month.
Part of the excitement was that, not only did we get the chance to visit Six Flags Fiesta Texas once? but we got to Twice!? The first visit was amazing.? It was strictly a family affair and the perfect adventure.? It included me, the boys, and hubs along with my sis and her family.? We had such a great time that we are hoping to be back next year as part of our family travels.??
On trip number 2, I was invited to attend the first annual Texas Blogger event put on by the San Antonio Convention andVisitors Bureau.? I was really excited about this because it was my FIRST ever blogging event and I would get to meet some other great Texas area bloggers.? Great news right?? I thought so? but it gets better, we were also able to bring our families along.? ?My boys were excited and how can you blame them.? Two trips to Fiesta Texas within months of each other. Now how exciting is that!
We got to do all of those things we missed on our first vacation.? The park is pretty big so we had to learn our way around the first time.? We walked so much my feet were throbbing at the end of the day.? But that didn?t stop me because we were having so much fun.
?We enjoyed everything from the shows, the food and the roller coasters?.the ones I wasn?t too chicken to get on that is.
??
?
We even got to see some of our favorite characters too.? Hey!? What?s Up Doc?
?
What I like overall about the park is that there is something for everyone.?? If roller coasters are not your thing, there are a slew of others things you can get enjoyment out of.? Wiggles world was a hit with the boys.? It’s colorful, vibrant and very kid friendly.? Adult friendly too, there were a couple of rides there I managed to get on that was just my speed.?
One of our favorite rides that happen to be in the kiddie area is the Scooby Doo’s Haunted Mansion. My kids are big Scooby Doo fans so I knew this would be a hit.? I was not sure what to expect but it?s basically a ride you sit in and the Mystery Machine?takes you around a Haunted House where ghosts pop up at you and you have guns to shoot them. ?You earn points by shooting them.? The more you shoot the more point you earns. ??I have to admit I have a very bad aim because by the end of the ride I had measly 65points, whereas the boys both had over 200 and hubby had over 1200!
Nevertheless, we had a great time and I look forward to doing it again!????Be sure to follow?@visitsanantonio on Twitter for their lateast tweets.
