Before we know it, many of us will be bundled up in heavy coats, traipsing through inches of snow and cranking up our thermostats. But for now, it?s time to savor the flavor of fall- pumpkin. These big, orange gourds are probably the most versatile fruit on the planet.
Think about it, what can?t you do with a pumpkin this time of year? You can eat just about every part of it, from roasted seeds to pumpkin pie and even pumpkin pasta- the fruit knows no bounds and can be enjoyed sweet or savory. Punkin? Chuckin? is quickly becoming one of our nation?s favorite pastimes and what is a front porch in the month of October without a few pumpkins?
One of the most popular ways to use pumpkins in the fall is the pumpkin spice latte. If that doesn?t sum up football games, leaf piles and haunted houses in one sip, than nothing will. Check out this extra spicy take on the traditional pumpkin spice latte- for the 21+ crowd.
