What would I pack if I win? The same essentials I pack for every trip. Through lots of trial and error, I?ve made my list of five carry-on essentials for every mom:
Hand sanitizer. Airports are gross places, so I bring a pocketsize antibacterial gel to make sure everyone stays clean.
Underwear for everyone. You never know if your luggage will get stuck somewhere else, so I always pack an extra pair of underwear for everyone in my family, plus lots of diapers for the babies.
Snacks. No matter if you feed everyone right before you leave the house, something about airports and airplanes makes everyone in my family hungry. I always pack simple snacks like granola bars and fruit snacks so we don?t end up eating junk in the airport or making a late-night run to the store.
Comfortable shoes. I like to keep a comfy pair of shoes handy just in case I need to make a quick dash. Again, you never know where your suitcase will end up.
Toothbrush and toothpaste. Instead of rummaging through a checked bag once we get to the hotel late, I like to know right where things are. Fresh breath makes everything better.
