		<description>Dear Editor,

SortFix is a new sorting engine which is making online searching easier, whether on the web or on your iPhone or iPad.

SortFix presents search results from Google, Bing, Twitter and YouTube and enables users to sort results as they please. SortFix’s iPad app is the only search app with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. There’s even a children’s version, SortFix Kids, which has a 4+ age rating in Apple’s App Store due to its strict content-filtering protection.

Please check out the press release below for all the details. If you would like, we would be happy to schedule you an interview with SortFix’s CEO, Amir Lavi.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact me by phone or email.

Thank you,
Avihu

SortFix Updates Its Drag &amp; Drop Search
iPad App - An App So Simple Even Your Grandma Could Use
Additions include multi-language support, Twitter
Search, images search and improved functionality
Tel Aviv, Israel – January 12, 2011 – Needed to get holiday gifts in the last weeks and wasn&#039;t sure what to search for? Whether you’re a savvy internet user or my grandmother, SortFix makes it easier than ever to search online either on the Web or on your iPad. SortFix’s patent-pending search algorithm is the ONLY iPad search app out there with intuitive drag-and-drop interface, called SortFix Touch. It&#039;s so easy to use that even your grandmother could learn how to search better in seconds.
SortFix simply helps you search better because it pulls up search results not only from Google, but also from: Bing, Twitter and YouTube, and enables you to sort your results and add/remove words as you please. Rather than aggregating search results from several sources into a single list, SortFix displays each source’s results on a particular tab. Once a search query has been entered, the results interface will display five tabs, each of which shows the best results from Google, Twitter, Bing, Bing Images and YouTube. Users can then click to share each Google or Bing result on Facebook, Twitter or Google Buzz.

An Easier Way to Search
SortFix’s unique algorithm analyzes search queries and results in order to generate and suggest power words users may want to include – or exclude – in their search queries. These power words are extracted in real time, so the results are always based on the most relevant and up-to-date information from the users favorite search engine. Power words are currently supported in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian and Hebrew. In addition, SortFix’s drag-and-drop interface is designed to minimize keystrokes and make search queries more advanced. Users can drag-and-drop individual power words, combine them to create exact search phrases, and drag them into the “dictionary box” to find out what they mean before using them. The interface is flash-based and supports all Internet browsers.
iPad Apps
SortFix is available in two sleek, easy-to-use iPad apps:
SortFix Touch works just like the browser version of SortFix, supporting Bing, Google, Twitter, Bing Images and YouTube results. It has just been updated to include multi-language support, a back-to-search-results option, as well as Twitter search and images search.
SortFix Kids, with its 4+ age rating in the Apple App Store, is specifically designed for children. Its strict content-filtering to provide safe searching for children by restricting obscene content other search engines may inadvertently show. It also uses power words and SortFix’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface, giving children a fun and easy new way to search the internet. The current release of SortFix Kids (version 1.2) provides results for Bing and Bing Images, and its next release (version 1.4) will support Google and YouTube results (in accordance with its 4+ age rating, it does not show Twitter results). Children can use SortFix Kids in any language supported by the iPad.

About SortFix
SortFix’s innovative technology and search user interface are revolutionizing the interaction between user and search engine. The company was co-founded in March 2009 by CEO Amir Lavi and CTO Yohay Barsky. For more information, visit SortFix&#039;s site, join us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
