Do you want your kids to aim? Well, when I say kids, I mean boys and when I say aim….I mean into the potty. I am in the process of training my two year old son. Luckily, he has been pretty good at potty training but not at the aiming into the toilet part. I grew up in a house with mostly girls, so I never understood what all the complaining about was. When kids are young, they unfortunately do not have a good concept of time and don’t always adhere to our sleep schedule.  Who cares that  mom wants to sleep in late on the weekend?   Surely not your kids!  Just when you think you are going to enjoy a few extra hours of sleep, here comes the little one barging into your room. At 6am… On a Saturday morning… Demanding you get up and start your day.  Sometimes they just do not get it, but it is not their fault totally, they just need a little guidance. 

I was offered the opportunity to review a ZAZOO Photo Clock  recently and it is definitely a mommy must have.  My boys are old enough now to understand the difference between day and night but I could have really benefited from this when they were younger.  Now that they are older, it is still one pretty cool clock.  The ZAZOO Photo Clock is more than a photo clock. It’s a clock, a photo frame, a video and MP3 player all wrapped into one. It even comes with a remote ! Teaching kids the difference between night and day could not be more fun.  The ZAZOO Photo Clock is a contemporary multimedia accessory that teaches children the concept of “sleep” and “awake” while helping parents the opportunity to create healthy sleep habits in a fun, educational way.

The concept of the clock is really simple.   The clock has two pre-programmed image sets of “awake” and “asleep” photo options that help your child know when to stay in bed or get up and start the day. When a child sees the sun image on their ZAZOO Photo Clock, they know it is time to wake. If they see the moon photo, that lets them know they should stay in bed until the alarm picture changes.

The alarm can be set for both naptime and bedtime. You can even personalize the awake and sleep images by uploading  personal images of your kids sleeping or waking up.  For an even  more personalized touch, you can even download your child’s name in images to be used on the clock.  

The ZAZOO Photo Clock is amazing and brillant all at the same time.  It can grow with your child even up to their teen years.   My son really enjoys this clock and operates it fairly well on his own.  He has even showed me a few things or two.  His favorite part has to be all the features the clock  has to offer.  As I mentioned earlier, The ZAZOO photo clock is more than just a clock.   It comes with a USB cord and the option of adding a SD memory card so that you can upload pictures, videos and even music.  You can create a picture show of your kids favorite photos  and watch their excitement as the pictures scroll by while set to some of their favorite songs. In a nutshell, this little clock does a lot and can really grow with your kid for years to come.

It’s not everyday you get to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Indiana. Thanks to P.F. Chang’s generosity, my family was able to look into the Chinese New Year and get a little glimpse of the celebration and importance of it all. First of all, I would like to say that P.F. Chang’s is very generous to their customers and I am very grateful for the chance to try these products. After trying the entrees and experiencing a little of what the company is about, they have truly won me over as a customer for life. My family had the chance to try the Garlic Chicken with Dan Dan Noodles & the Firecracker Shrimp with Yakisoba Noodles. Both were delicious, but I want to tell you about them individually.

Garlic Chicken with Dan Dan Noodles

This entree from P.F. Chang’s was simply delicious. It was easy to cook on the stove and turned out perfect. You see, these are the kind of dishes I need in my home to cook. This is a prime example of the kind of dishes moms should try with their families. I have a 1 year old, 2 year old and a hungry husband. The entree was perfect for us and my kids all loved it. The noodles were a favorite of mine and how they just sort of melted into the chicken. I would say that P.F. Chang’s hit the nail on the head when they created this frozen meal for families like mine! By-the-way that picture makes me want to eat this all over again. Because it really does look that good in real life and it tastes EVEN BETTER!

Firecracker Shrimp with Yakisoba Noodles

Now, I have to say that I am not a seafood person. HOWEVER, P.F. Chang’s Firecracker Shrimp with Yakisoba Noodles changed my opinion of shrimp forever. In my opinion, if you create a dish that converts a non-shrimp lover, then you got something going on! This was another dish that my husband and I shared together. Because my kids are so little, I was a little nervous to let them try the spiciness of this meal. I was glad I didn’t share anyways because it was AWESOME. I am a spicy food kinda person and I just loved this dish!

My overall opinion? I am in love with this company. The fact that they bring delicious meals right to your table top is simply fabulous. We are a busy family and we need something quick and easy. I would not lie to you when  I say that this is a quick and easy meal. Not to mention my whole family loves it and that’s hard to do! Thank you P.F. Chang’s for creating amazing meals for families like mine!

P.S.–We enjoyed the extra red lanterns the company threw in for us. We felt like we were celebrating the Chinese New Year right along with the rest of the world.

It’s important to find ways to save money because you do not want to spend over your monthly amount. The biggest mistake seen among individuals is that they spend above their budgets. That is the worst thing you can do, you should really try to stay within your means. However, it’s no secret that emergencies arise and sometimes you just have to spend money outside of your budget.

Here are some ways I try to save money and get out of debt:

Try not to use credit cards.

It’s true that there are a lot of debt help companies out there. This helps people who are already in a lot of debt. Instead of accruing more debt, try and pay cash for things. In this economy it may be hard to pay cash with everything. Cut up your credit cards and stick to paying cash only.

Cut corners where you can.

Every household budget has areas that they can cut money.

• Cloth diapers
• Hanging clothes to dry
• Shop at Aldis (cheaper grocery store)
• Eating in—instead of out-
• Ditch the cable

Get rid of debt

 One of my biggest ways to save money is cut out actual debt. I pay off debt as quickly as I can. The longer the debt sits there, then the harder it is to pay off. Start with your smallest debt and pay it off with extra monthly income. As you pay off that debt, you have more money to put towards larger debts.
