1 ½ cups of buttermilk
½ cup of butter
1 tsp of baking powder
1 ½ cups of sugar

If you don’t have buttermilk, you can make your own. Just mix 1 ½ cups of milk with 2 tbsp of vinegar, mix and let it rest for 5 minutes, then add a tsp of bicarbonate of soda and mix well. That’s your homemade buttermilk.

[I did the entire recipe by hand just to show you how easy it is]
