Microwave Chocolate Kahlúa Cake!

Kahlúa is a fantastically versatile liqueur. There are hundreds of cocktails you can make with the coffee liqueur, including the Kahlúa Ginger Ale. The two flavors surprisingly compliment each other very well.

Serves 1

Ingredients

2 parts Kahlúa liqueur

8 parts Ginger Ale

Directions

Fill a glass with ice, add Kahlúa and mix in Ginger Ale. Stir and enjoy!

Kahlúa isn’t just for drinks, it makes a lovely addition to your desserts as well. Check out this easy dessert we whipped up in just a few minutes. It’s positively divine!

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 box angel food cake mix
1 box chocolate fudge cake mix
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice (or regular Kahlúa)
Topping of your choice (melted chocolate, frosting, whip cream, strawberry sauce, etc.)

Directions

Mix cake mixes together. Spoon 3 tablespoons of mixture into a coffee mug (you’ll have enough mix to make a ton of cakes!). Add water and Kahlúa. Stir well and microwave for 1 minute 20 seconds*. Let the cake stand for a few minutes before adding topping of your choice.

Note: If you have a hard time finding Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice, you can use the original Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur instead. *Microwave times may vary

The cake is perfectly moist and has a very rich, decadent, chocolatey flavor. The portion is a perfect size as well, not too big or too small. Enjoy!
