So does your kid like to dance? Or are they just the type that has entirely too much energy that drives you nuts on most days? Well, Kidz Bop Dance Party for Nintendo Wii may be just what they need to dance that extra energy away!

I have a 9 and 6 year old who are literally two little dancing machines. I kid you not, they love music and they love to dance which is why I was excited to see what the Kidz Bop Dance Party for Nintendo Wii was all about. Along with the game, we received a small package of Chex Mix, some glow lights and the cutest little Mini Disco Globe ever. Needless to say, they were literally ready to get the party started!
The Kidz Bop Dance Party CD is FUN and has a great sound track. In fact some of the songs you might find yourself singing to!
The track list includes:
- 1985
- All Star (Dance Mix)
- Axel F (Frog Song)
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Circus
- Crazy in Love
- Disturbia
- Don’t Stop the Music
- Evacuate the Dance Floor
- Fire Burning
- Get the Party Started
- Girlfriend
- Hey Ya!
- Hot n Cold
- Ice Cream & Guacamole
- Kidz Bop Shuffle
- Let It Rock
- Live Your Life
- Paparazzi
- Party in the USA
- Say Hey (I Love You)
- Since U Been Gone
- Take You There
- Thriller
You may even find yourself familiar with some of the some of the songs on the track since they are originally sung by already popular artists such as Lady GaGa, Black Eyed Peas, Kay Perry, and Miley Cyrus to name a few. The songs on the Kidz Bop CD are however sung by other kids just like your own which I think makes it even more kid-friendly. The songs are clean and fun so you won’t mind even your youngest kids listening to them.
The game itself is easy to play and it features five game play modes that include free play, challenge, dance off, shop and dress up. The boys really like the idea of being able to choose different dance locations and creating their own dance characters. They even get to earn points along the way which unlocks more options. (Well that’s what I heard anyway, lol). I realize that this game is geared towards kids ages 5-12 but I have to admit that I did give it a try and I had a blast doing so! (Ssshhh, don’t tell anyone). But from a mom’s perspective, what I like about the game is that you can choose to dance alone or team up with another player to make the game even more fun. With two boys at home, that’s very important to have a 2 player option— if you know what I mean.

Kidz Bop Dance Party for Nintendo Wii would definitely be a hit for kids this holiday season! In fact, you don’t even have to be a kid to enjoy this one. This would also be a great gift for the dancing challenged.
