My husband loves music! He’s the type that has to have music playing ALL the time. As he puts it…it relaxes him and helps him to think. As a proud iPod owner, he was delighted to hear of Sharp’s new DK-AP8P iPod Docking System. He has always wanted one but never got around to doing his research, so he was happy he would get the opportunity to give this one a try. Suited in his favorite color, black, the DK-AP8P could not have come in a better color. The glossy “piano black” plastic, looks awesome and it definitely adds a touch of elegance to the system.
We’ve had the unit now for about several weeks and have been enjoying it since day one. My husband is such a fan now, that I saw him recently browsing online for what I assume would be other items he can add to his wish list.
About the DK-AP8P
The DK-AP8P is a compact and portable iPod dock with the dock on the top for your iPod. The device has an ultra-portable design and can be easily taken with you on the go. We really like the portability of this system. You can power up your unit with 4 AA batteries and have music on-the-go. The other neat thing about the DK-AP8P is that you can watch your favorite videos on a large screen when connected to a TV. It also has a removable magnetic cover which works as a wireless touch panel remote.
So we were thinking…. So Far- So Good, but the ultimate test for the DK-AP8P was of course the sound quality. Remember I told you how my hubs love his music? Well he loves it and loves to have it loud at times also. At first, I wasn’t quite sure how the quality of the speakers would be just because of the speaker size and the size of the overall unit itself but this is where I became impressed. After hooking it up and listening jamming to a few tracks from our iPod, I can attest that the sound quality is both exceptional and clear. We gave it two thumbs up in that category alone. Now I wouldn’t say you’d use it to host your next big party, but they are definitely good for relaxing to music in your home or office. If you’re looking for good sound quality then these are it. It is also great for travel and can be packed conveniently without taking up too much space.
