Kiwi Banana Tango
Ingredients:
1 ripe kiwi – peeled & diced
1/2 ripe banana – peeled
1/2 ripe mango – peeled & diced
Directions:
Mash all fruits together and then blend or puree as needed. Make it Creamy Kiwi Banana Tango by adding yogurt and/or cereal.
Our family has a real thing for Sweet Potatoes, so this is what I did for my four babies during the years:
Scrub about 3 or 4 sweet potatoes and bake at 450 degrees F. for 40 to 50 minutes, testing with a fork for desired softness. Allow to cool. Peel, then out in food processor, adding vegetable cooking juices, milk, or a bit of apple juice.
I also suggest you can use a potato masher to have it more textured, or a Magic Bullet! lol.
Fruit Yogurt Cups
Ingredients
1/3 cup mixed fruit (bananas, peaches, strawberries, kiwi)
2 tsp frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1/2 tsp vanilla OR almond extract
1/3 cup plain yogurt
Directions
Chop or puree fruit to desired consistency.
Add fruit and flavorings to the yogurt, stir to combine.
Serve, or cover and store in the refridgerator until later (for about 3 or 4 hours)
Makes enough for 2 small children.
Mushy Apples (aka applesauce)
Chop about 4 apples (peeled and cored)
Boil in a saucepan with an inch of water.
Once it comes to a boil, lower the heat and simmer until the chunks are semi-soft.
Drain and toss with a tiny bit of ground cinnamon.
If you stop cooking them just before they are too soft, they can be eaten with fingers. If they are very soft, you can just mix up a little bit and eat with a spoon.

Preparation couldn’t be easier – just place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth!
I made this one up when my kids were eating baby food. I used leftovers.
Chicken Surprise (The surprise is there is veggies in it, sooo shh)
1 Leftover chicken breast (preferably without strong seasonings) or steam some chicken breast and add a dash of garlic powder)

Pork Roast with All the Trimmings
This is great for when baby is ready for meat in their diet. Feeds the whole family.
Cook a Pork Roast in crock pot to the point of falling apart. I season with a dry soup mix. Before the roast is done add baby carrots and unpeeled red potatoes to crock pot. When everything is done take out some roast, carrots and potato and puree everything together with a little of the juice from the roast. One pot meal to feed the entire family. Easy to cook and clean up means more time for family at the end of the day.
Remember if you are leaving the potatoes unpeeled for the extra nutrients to use red potatoes, otherwise make sure they are peeled.
I love making my daughter’s baby food, and I would love to make it with a Magic Bullet!!! Here’s a really simple recipe that packs in the vitamins and tastes good!
Sweet Potato Pumpkin Puree
1 sweet potato (the dark orange are best, but any will do)
1 small pumpkin (pie pumpkin would be best!)
water
apple juice (if desired)
cinnamon (if desired)
1. wash and PEEL the sweet potato (extra protection from
pesticides and such!)
2. Cut into pieces
3. wash and cut the pumpkin into large chunks
4. Use a steamer or a large pan to steam the sweet potato and
pumpkin
5. Put the steamed veggies into a blender
6. Add some of the water you steamed them in so that you retain
as many vitamins as possible (can add apple juice in
addition to the water, if desired)
7. Blend until very smooth
8. Cool and serve!
You can sprinkle a bit of cinnamon in this if you want, but I prefer not to introduce that to my baby yet. My daughter loves this recipe as is!!!
We puree bananas and strawberries
I would love a magic bullet ,taking care of my 83 year old mother with alzheimers I puree alot of her food.
1/2 of a ripe pear, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 cup of fresh blueberries (stems removed)
1 small apple (Granny Smiths are nice but any sweet apple would do)
Put all of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Use just enough water to cover the fruits and simmer for about 5 minutes or until the fruits are tender and soft. Drain the water then put the fruits in a blender and puree until smooth.
Thank you for a great giveaway opportunity. ♥
When my children were younger I would blend a banana, some applesauce and pineapple. They loved it.
Thank you

My niece love pear puree. We use a regular old blender to make it, but I’m sure a magic bullet would make it better!
Take a fruit (any kind, depending on baby’s taste), peel it, remove core and seeds.
Cut into blender-friendly pieces.
Use the blender to puree it.
Heat the cup in a microwave to room temperature if necessary.
Easy and a hit with babies!
I would bake a cored apple and a zucchini in the microwave until soft and them puree them together with a tiny bit of cinnamon. Applesauce with a bit of green veggie, and lots of taste!

that sounds delish!
Now (and when they were babies) my boys love smoothies. I blend the following (I was using a hand blender until it started smoking last time I used it : )
frozen fruit (a cup or so) My boys like strawberry and banana
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
1/2 milk
(you can add other things: ground flax seed, or honey to taste for older children).
Yum!
I make a banana peachy rice pudding for my daughter who is 13 months.
1 tbsp rice cereal
1 tbsp breastmilk or formula
1 slice peach
1 slice banana
Cinnamon
1. Cut peach and banana both into very small chunks.
2. Mix with remaining ingredients for a lumpy fruity rice pudding snack. Sprinkle with cinnamon if you wish to introduce this spice to your baby.
Beets – Basic Purée
1 bunch of fresh beets, golden beats have a milder flavor
1. Wash then peel the beets (be sure to cut off the tops.) and then cut the beets into small chunks
2. Place chunks into a steamer pan with just enough water visible through the steamer basket. You may also boil them in a scant amount of water if you prefer.
3. Steam until tender
4. Do not reserve any left over water to use for thinning out the beets as Nitrates may seep into the cooking water
5. Place into Magic Bullet begin pureeing.
6. Add water as necessary to achieve a smooth, thin consistency.
You can cook the greens and serve like spinage. Also add some apple or pear to sweeten the beets
I make vegetable stew for my family without any salt and put a portion in a blender for the baby. She gets carrots, beef, corn, peas and potatoes and absolutely loves it.
It’s been a little while since my “babies” were eating baby food. They LOVED their pureed fruits and sweet potatoes, as well as some fruity oatmeal:
Apple oatmeal
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup apple juice
1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 cup rolled oats
a pinch of nutmeg
1/2 cup (4 fl oz) formula (or more water or milk)
Pour the water and juice into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
Add the diced apple then sprinkle in the rolled oats, stirring well.
Return the mixture to the boil, then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer.
Add the nutmeg and cook until thick (10-15 mins).
For younger babies, or if your baby likes a smoother oatmeal (versus lumpy), puree briefly in the blender. Apples can also be pureed before adding to the oatmeal.

Carrots with some peas.
Bananas with mango
I’d have to say organic brown rice. I grind the rice before cooking (1/4 c) and then add it to 1 C water. Bring it to a boil and then simmer and stir for 10 minutes. Super simple and very good for you!
Triple Berry Smoothie
Ingredients
Organic vanilla yogurt
Mixed Frozen Berries
Ice cubes
Blend yogurt with berries (you can begin with a splash of breastmilk or formula) and ice cubes.
This is great for teething babies!
This is so good you’ll want to eat it yourself!
Peach Chicken
1/2 cup cooked boneless chicken, chopped
1/4 cup cooked brown rice
1 ripe peach
1 tablespoon peach juice
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoon wheat germ
Mix all ingredients together and chop roughly in a food processor or blender.

Bananas
Apples
Pears
put them in “Express” blend together for pleasant mini tropical delight; may also add other fruits as baby gets older, tolerates, ie melons, pineapple, strawberries
Just make sure to “smash” to fine consistancy so child does not choke!!
We’re natural, easy, and like to live off a lot of what we have. Living in Hawaii we often just gets bananas from the tree out back and squish them for the baby, usually about one banana.
My baby girl loved blended avocados and bananas. Looks horrible, tastes great!
my son loves yogurt smoothies!

Bananas and Pineapple puree’d
I’m a subber.. thanks for the great prize !!
Our son’s favorite recipes follow a common theme. He loved apples mashed with ham; he loved pears mashed with ham, and he also loved sweet potato mashed with ham. These products look like they’d do the job quite nicely!
