Kustom Memories Personalized Book Review and Giveaway

11 February 2010 65 Comments

klogo5-300x124Kids love seeing their name in print and my kids are no different.   With the STAR mentality my baby boy Jay has, I just knew he would love a personalized book from Kustom Memories.  I could not be more excited and could not wait for him to see it.

Kustom Memories sent Jay The X-men storybook and words cannot explain just how excited he was….and mom too!  I was hoping to wait until Valentine’s Day to present it to him but the anticipation took over me, LOL.  The book was perfect and it made my heart smile seeing his little eyes light up when he read the opening page saying… Jay B. joins the X-Men to battle the Sentinels.  It was pure joy watching.   The book also comes with a special dedication page allowing you to convey a special message to your kid.   Our message said:  Happy Valentines Day Jay! Love Mom and Dad.  I just love the added personalization and it makes a perfect gift for any occasion.

Jay could not believe he was the STAR of his own book that included bits of information about him like his name, age, city & state.   What was even more impressive is that his big brother J.T. and two cousins, Nyia and L.B. were all mentioned in the story.  Jay could not have been more excited and in his own words, all he could say is Awe……s0oome!  Now, how kewl is that!?   He was excited beyond words and could not wait to bring it to school to share with his friends.   I am overall pleased with the book we received.   Along with it’s colorful illustrations and positive message, I found the book to be very durable and love the washable hardbound cover.

I would love to give my daughter a personalized letter from the Easter Bunny! Kids these days stop believing so much earlier, no thanks to constant hints from television shows, and anything to help them believe a little longer is worth it for me!

My husband and I actually used to own a personalized storybook store back when the concept (and computers) was a new idea. My older two children have many personalized books from our old store, but since we closed the store before her birth my youngest does not. This book would be for her!
