If losing weight and getting healthy was part of your New Year’s Resolution, then having the right tools only makes sense in achieving those goals. The EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale is the ideal way to keep track of your weight
loss this year. It’s easy to use and a great accessory for any home.
I haven’t weighed myself in quite a while ,but had a general idea as to what to expect so I was excited to see how close or off the scale actually was. I was excited and skeptical all at the same time. I figured I’ve gone this long without knowing so why take the chance of once again obsessing over how much I weigh. But then again, I really wanted to know.
It was simple! All I did was give it a tap with my foot, stepped on and got a very accurate readout. I say accurate because I knew the ball park range I was looking for and it nailed it! So… don’t go thinking for a second your eye’s are playing tricks on you and you’re not seeing clearly. This thing is accurate and the LCD is just large enough at 3.5″ with a blue backlit that makes it easy to read. You can also weigh yourself in the dark, just in case this feature would be a deciding factor in you choosing a scale.

Give up diet sodas they trigger sugar cravings.
I watch portion size and drink a lot of water.
I eat alot of fresh fruit and I walk for exercise.
My best advice is to keep healthy snacks on hand. A few carrot sticks or a handful of unsalted nuts will give you energy AND fill you up. You’ll feel better and eat smaller meals!
I stopped drinking pop (Coke, Pepsi, etc) on Jan 1st and so far have lost 6 lbs. I never realized how much I was drinking (3-4 cans daily)and all the sugar was in each can. My goal is losing 50 lbs this year or about 5 lbs per month, so far I’m above my goal.

Wait until you’re hungry to eat. You are hungry when your stomach growls.
I have found that eating a low fat yogart in the morning will get you going and you are not so hungry right at lunch time so you can eat a lighter lunch and not feel so bogged down, therefore eating better and less!!
Exercise. The more I exercise, the less I feel like eating junk and undoing the hard work I’ve done.
I have a “snack” mid morning with eat or coffee (no sugar) and then a mid-afternoon “snack” instead of lunch. That way I’m not starving by noon (and when I’m starving I eat more than I should) and the snacks are actually healthy foods, not snacks.
My tip is no carbs after dark. None. Not even popcorn with a movie. Carbs after dark don’t get burned off and go straight to fat storage.
