Gifts For The New Year: Eat Smart Digital Scale Giveaway!

14 January 2010 301 Comments

If losing weight and getting healthy was part of your New Year’s Resolution, then having the right tools only makes sense in achieving those goals.  The EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale is the ideal way to keep track of your weight scaleloss this year.  It’s easy to use and a great accessory for any home.

I haven’t weighed myself in quite a while ,but had a general idea as to what to expect so I  was excited to see how close or off the scale actually was.   I was excited and skeptical all at the same time.  I figured I’ve gone this long without knowing so why take the chance of once again obsessing over how much I weigh.    But then again, I really wanted to know.

It was simple!   All I did was give it a tap with my foot, stepped on and got a very  accurate readout.  I say accurate because I knew the ball park range I was looking for and it nailed it!  So… don’t go thinking for a second your eye’s are playing tricks on you and you’re not seeing clearly.  This thing is accurate and the LCD is just large enough at 3.5″ with a blue backlit that makes it easy to read.  You can also weigh yourself in the dark, just in case this feature would be a deciding factor in you choosing a scale.

A little more about the Eat Smart Digital Scale:

The EatSmartDigital scale is engineered to the highest precision standards. Four EatSmart precision sensors ensure that you will get an accurate measurement every time.  The slim design of the scale will fit perfectly in any surrounding, and large non-slip platform safely allows weights up to 330 lbs.

    3) Vitamins, vitamins, vitamins.

    4) Don’t eat within a few hours of bedtime.

    5) When I feel myself getting addicted to sugar products and fast food (major addictions of mine), I go on liquid meals (Slimfast, carnation instant breakfast, fruit and protein powder smoothies, veggie soups, etc) for a few days. It helps break the cravings for me.

Chocolate was my trigger food, so I don’t have it in the house anymore, I’ve always drank a lot of water and continue to do so. I eat nothing after 8pm and eat breakfast daily. Yogurt is great to eat because it helps you to lose belly fat..make sure it’s a nonfat yogurt. Fresh fruit is my late morning and afternoon snack. Don’t drink your calories. Fruit juice of sugar laden, as are many other drinks. If you haven’t already, switch to skim milk. These tips should help out a lot. I’m thrilled with my weight loss.

Switch to smaller plates! This really helped me lose weight without even thinking about it. I never realized how many more calories I was consuming because I felt I had to clean my plate. I put less portions on my smaller plates and never go back for seconds because I am truely full. That and lots of water!

when I shop and feel like i need to buy junk food, i put the food in my cart so I get the thrill of putting it in my basket, then I shop for nutritious healthy food and by comparison, the healthy food looks so much better! it reminds me that my body is worth eating right! I then have no problem putting the junk food back!

For me, the best thing I can do to curb my appetite and avoid overeating is to stay as hydrated as possible, drinking as much water and tea as possible between meals to keep my stomach full, and about an hour before dinner, eating a slice of bread with olive oil to “pre-fill” my stomach so I get fuller a lot faster. So far so good!
